i dunno how you folk can get in the car without one lol ! you can fit a rad down between the servo and the support brace on the subframe, for the take off on the head, then put another in the origional place leaving you bags of space at the front for ya intercooler,,,,i am going to use two 1100 rads in mine and a cossie intercooler for the front, hope it works...either way i 8nt taking me servo out i am too soft 4 that !

Why not use a remote servo, put it where you like then just stick a vacuum pipe on and the brake pipes and of you go

My track car does not have a servo, it gives far more feel to the brakes under hard use, however on the road when some numpty pulls out on you, the brakes do not bite as hard initially so sometimes you get a bit of minor heart failure initially. That is why I will be fitting a servo to my mini as it will mainly be for road use.

Stopping a non servo'd turbo mini with those awful metro calipers is bloody dangerous, especially at 80 plus, had a servo for 4 years now and yes it gets in the way but I wouldn't be without it. Also dumped the metro calipers.

yeh to get technical about those turbo callipers some boffin told me it is to do with "unsprung weight" ?? he shpeiled a load of jargon that kinda made sense couldnt argue with him as he is a propper mr Tefaul ! i was thinking of taking me turbo callipers off and putting fiesta ones on i have used em in the past with big motors and they never suffered brake fade, and were shit hot, better than the S ones and cheaper than Kad (although no way as good of course)

i prefer an uncluttered engine bay, well as uncluttered as possible with a turbo'd mini!
