well i jst spoke to Ian and the front engine has sold , so has the rolling shell, and he'll be flogging the other engine imedietly.
this is a real bummer as far as i am concerned ,we had some great mini race w/ends together along with John Haston . He has had enough of the heartache running two big power engines and all the expence and shit that comes with them. he has also sold his immaculate mk3 marcos ,so is well and truely out of the mini scene,as he says.
i'm sure we will see the car about ,but not as we know it of late. and probably never will again, he is however not out of ther drag race scene, but has renewd enthusiasm for his latest steed..
What more can i say, if i'm honest i'm acctually quite gutted he's out ,but he has to do whats best for his sanity.

Certainly is although i'm sure his new steed will be of the same high quality as his mini's were.

good luck to him but it is a shame

Seems a pity, from an observers view it looked as though the supercharged setup was just what he needed to do some really impressive times and was working well, apart from the obvious problems he had at avon park.
I'll have to upload the footaqe i took at York.

Here for the craic..
