Hiya,

I pulled apart the heater from my mk1 last night, to find that a metro heater motor can be adapted to fit pretty easily. Spinning the two motors up on a battery the metro one has loads more poke to it, and a larger fan that still fits in the mini heater case. the motor is the same size but the mountings are slightly different, it may well fit a later heater unit with no adapting though.

Yeah cheers for that was thinking about overhauling the heater this winter as my heater is S*?T think the matrix needs replacing. Cheers for that.
