hi there guys im just building a turbo engine for my mini. I paid ?400 for the complete engine, the block has been bored to 1293, but I believe every thing else is standard. I will be having some work done on the head and the gearbox. I think I will be letting Bill Richards do the work for me.
I?m not too clued up on the turbo unit so I learning as I go along.
There are a few pipes on the turbo that im not sure ware they go.
There is a pipe coming of the actuator, which is connected, but there is another one just hanging off, can any one tell me were this one connects too.
Also there is a little pipe on the side of the plenum chamber ware does this go to

its probably the pipe which went to the boost control valve theres a few things you can do with this pipe if you are using the ecu conect it to the boost valve or if not using ecu(which is easiest) block it off and run the turbo at standrd low boost or block it off and put a bleed valve inthe actuator pipe to adjust the boost but this will need a good boost guage so you dont over boost
the pipe on the plenum goes to the fuel pressure regulater but have good search on hear coz the are sum good piccys somewhere

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.
