I got bored at work today, so thought Id spend some time on my DIY engine build, so started on an old turbo...

Done this on the lathe......



This with a die grinder....(and exhast intake)


And this on the mill.....


Dave, you said about using 47mm cutter, couldn't find one so used a 48mm one.....it went through, so had to weld it up!!! Oh well.

Will any of these mods work??

How do you mean will they work??

Will your turbo still suck air in? - I'm pretty sure it will.

Will the exhaust gas still flow through the elbow? - Probably....

what's different to the turbo?

Best 1/4 mile 13.2 seconds @116 mph
First 5 port miniturbo to make over 200 bhp on a carb?
First 5 port miniturbo to make over 200 bhp on Injection?
