Yes, yes, yes, It's been on the various forums for a few days - but some sensible types don't look at other lame-ass forums apart from this one, so I'm posting it here.

OK, that done with...

Take a look round the rest of the site aswell. The Rover page is by far the best - especially as it touches so many (as it's still fresh in our memories), but Drakes Island in Plymouth (link below) has always fascinated me, as I've sailed past it so many times whilst serving with the Navy and on various yachting trips... To actually see inside it, and atop the cliff has kinda answered a long-term fascination with it... Sad maybe, but deeply fulfilling in a bizarre way.

if you want to see half finished mg`s just come to my house the wankers at MG didnt bother finishing my 10000 car which i have to say is a lump of shit, i would drive it through the glass window of the showroom if they had one !

my car !!!!!

it must have been the friday afternoon car
came with no sill covers at first, then sent it back to longbridge came back with sill covers put on back to front, and the front lens missing on my light ! sent it back to dealership came back body sortid but me clocks didnt work
sent it back came back sortid....1 week later passenger door fails to unlock send it back ecu is fooked (ecu for locks etc) send it back door works but clocks dont.. send it back, clocks work everything works fine 4 a week passenger door goes faulty again send it back (due its service by now) gets fixed and serviced t weeks down the line car imobalises itself completely phone mg up they send out technician with portable diagnostics machine.. fixes it at roadside and books me into dealership for full overhaul.....go to dealership on the day to find it derelect builder informs me Priory Mg is no more ! i now have no warranty a fucked car and 7500 worth of debt through rover finance !!!! i hate the bastards i will get my vengeance !

lol!!!

my friend bought his Yellow MG ZR and had same problem with his clocks!!

Also his electric windows kept breaking! He paid extra to have front foglights fitted, and the day he went in to get them installed they were also derilict!

Quite good though, my friend went down and cleared them out a couple of weeks later and alot of the parts and tools went to sunwin motors, i now have a nice genuine rover spring compressor, a barrel of 10-40 oil and other bits and pieces.
