HI EVERYONE, NEW HERE NEED ADVICE HAVE A 1380 WITH ALL THE GOODIES FORTECH BUILT A+ 73.5 POWERMAX PISTONS, NITRIDED, CROSS DRILLED CRANK, LONGMAN GT6 ALLOY STG3 HEAD WITH S/C GEARS FINAL 3.1 SPOKE TO RICH @ MIRAGE SAID T2 TURBO WOULD BE OK WHAT ABOUT A GT15 TURBO BETTER?? & WHAT INTERCOOLER DO YOU GUYS THINK IS SUUFICIENT? |

Just out of interest, y are you looking to use a gt15? It is a very small turbo, which i believe they use on the Smart Cars little 836cc? engine? A 1380 sure pumps more gas through than that so a T2 will be fine. I know Rich does some good Hybrid t2s, of which i think Nic is running a lower spec one. As for intercoolers, take ur pick, Land Rover TD5, RS turbo, Lancia Delta; wotever u can get to fit!!! |

welcome mate....beware of your compression ratio if it is a N/A head they tend to be higher compression, more so with it being 1380 and a longman head :) you may need to machine your pistons...as i wouldnt want to machine anything off a longman head. of course all depending on if the block has been decked / head skimmed.
