hi,

anyone here running a roadster or speedster? im looking at chopping the roof off my mini, but am not 100% sure on what to do once the roof is off, ie: where the shell needs bracing etc.

the original plan was to buy a kit from banham, but he seems to have gone out of business now, as have the peope he sold the kits too.

The other problem is i will be fitting a roll cage to the car, and i hav completely removed the rear seat from the car, so have already lost a considerable amount of strength there.

would it be possible to just have a cage made up to strengthen the car, or would i need something more?

Problem solved. Ive managed to aquire a full set of moulds for a roadster conversion, along with the neccessary jigs etc. for the shell mods.

should be able to offer roadster parts fairly cheap to people on this forum once i get the stuff all together if anyone is interested.

chap on here called thepikie has a superb turbo roadster with removable steel hardtop

i was working in london in the summer, as i won dered out of the bar i was amazed to see a black crayford parked up, mmmmm
