Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

Been ages since i last touched a non-verto setup and i'm just about to put mine on the crank.

Are the bolts the same or different? Is it just a case that the lock washer is part of the bolt on the verto and not on the non-verto?

Going to order the last bits i need from minits at dinner thats all and fingers crossed i can get my engine in! Woohoo!

Hopefully running soon, might have a long weekend at it this weekend.

Pop a dizzy in to start then hopefully go to the autosport show and buy my emerald bits *smiley*

But is the key'd washer the same?

I'n going to order a new bolt and locking washer as a matter of course but the one behind it that fits in the slot on the end of the crank, are they the same? I've got loads kicking about but i'm sure they're all verto.

I cant see why they would be different but on minispares they list 88G508 - Flywheel Keyway - Pre Verto.

Its throwing me off i reckon and it will fit both but may as well be sure!

The pre verto is an 1 1/2 AF and the verto a 30mm. The pre uses a fold over washer. I have been using a verto bolt on a pre for years, just ensure it is torqued up and lock tited.

Many folk use no fold washer. Like the guy who built my Metro engine.
