I've got standard head studs in, the ones with the Y in the top. I know TD uses these and has no problems (as long as they havent been abused!)

I got my core plugs from Minispares, but with their "comedy" postage charges now, you may be better looking elsewhere ?

might be abit late with this one, but i have the minispares head stud/fasteners kit which looks good - although the engine hasnt run. I wouldnt touch the minispares rod bolts with an extended bardgepole with a pointer taped to the end. I've seen the future and tbh its Pie
