Im hopefully gunna fit the engine this weekend as i need space in the garage (mum wants to bring the stupid garden furniture in)

Do you have to move the engine mounts 1/2 inch forward. i remember reading it somewhere but i cant remember where........

you can if you want to, not needed thought to be honest. i think i'd only bother doing it if i was using a mirage setup.

right im really getting p!ssed off with this now *angry*, if anyone has a picture of the part of the engine that bolts to the subframe then i would be very greatfull. or an explanation would be fine. Its freezin out there and i took the old engine out over a year ago o oit appears to slipped my ming. D'oh.

Eh?

One engine mount bolts to the clutch cover "wok".


The other side one bolts to the bracket that also supports the radiator, shown below. Ignore red arrows on picture.

you have to bolt the alloy bit{behind the bolts in pic} to the box if it came out of a metro as they don't use tham
