trying to fit a smiths capilary type oil temperature guage and need to know the thread on the sensor/sender end of the tube?

plan to copy phill and fit it to the side of the box if i can *blush*

5/8 UNF, tapping size is 37/64" which is the same size as 3/8 BSPT which i've just drilled and tapped my galleries out too!

How jammy is that :o
