I am contimplating the avonbar Phase 2 ?
My engine is a 1312cc very high spec steel engine, 7:1 compression, a full Metro turbo race head by Phil Hepworth with a highbrid T3 and nitrious as anti lag, any ideas?

The phase 2 seems to be the cam of choice for many of the guys on here.

The "Latest Generation" Phase 2 also has extended exhaust timing in relation to the earlier phase 2.

There is also available the Phase 3 cam, but many feel this is a bit too compromising to low down power.

I suppose it depends on what you intend to use the car for primarily?

as tom says

deffo the phase 2

they may well be a better cam out there
when pete gets the magazine up tom in the future

it would be nice to test most of these cams out back to back.

With a compression ratio that low and a T3 your really going to struggle low down, especially if you're planning on using it for a road car. I wouldn't fit a phase 3, the phase 2 will be better and really doesn't seem to be a restriction when big power is sought.
