What type of clutch should I bee looking to replace the original item with given the following spec: Edited by snowfruit on 6th Dec, 2005. |

I'd go for a race/rally type plate with an orange or maybe grey spring. Non verto obviously.

Are there any other parts I'd need to replace in my clutch setup if I want to use the orange pre-verto clutch plate? |

Its a standard 998cc. nothing has been changed from standard engine wise Edited by snowfruit on 7th Dec, 2005. |

Still not enough info. Year? Clutch at the moment? A? A+? Verto? Non-Verto?

1989 Mini racing green - A+ pretty sure ... but I don't know what type of clutch is standard on these ... |

1989 so therefore assuming standard engine, it will have a verto clutch.

Might be easier (initially) just to get a 'turbo' verto cover (loadsa guys here must have some spare ones) and a non-sprung centre... On 17th Nov, 2014 Tom Fenton said:
