What type of clutch should I bee looking to replace the original item with given the following spec:
998cc at about 10 - 12psi (more if I feel courageous) with an intercooler. - not sure how much HP that might give.

Also I will be fitting solid front subframe mountings. Besides these are there any other engine fixings that should be upgraded added - e.g. ultimate engine steady, gearbox steady?

I'd go for a race/rally type plate with an orange or maybe grey spring. Non verto obviously.

Are there any other parts I'd need to replace in my clutch setup if I want to use the orange pre-verto clutch plate?

Still not enough info. Year? Clutch at the moment? A? A+? Verto? Non-Verto?

1989 so therefore assuming standard engine, it will have a verto clutch.

So, you need to change-
Flywheel
Back Plate
Clutch Release Bearing
Clutch Release Arm and pushrod
Slave Cylinder location

Might be easier (initially) just to get a 'turbo' verto cover (loadsa guys here must have some spare ones) and a non-sprung centre...
