it looks to me like the valves have sunk! badly

whats it off ?

it looks like to me its an old A series head

I'd say it looks like an old small bore A series head as well, although I've never seen an A+ small bore head ever..
Remove the exhaust valve, it takes 8 seconds..

Its a 12g295 up for sale on eBay. I have one of these already but its not unleaded and I was hoping to save the hassle of sending it off to be converted. :p

right 12g295 i doubt it, unless it states that it has unleaded seats?

and then i would want to see more evidence!

the Exhaust seat on this pic looks likes its worn to me.

295's dont take to seats well, they tend to crack quiet quickly after they are fitted.

If you have one already stop fannying about looking at shit on ebay and send yours to the machine shop.
