what so they are 1/4" down the bore at tdc ??

well they say it's best to have things up high, but i no of a guy running 150 -16o bhp with out any probs, and his pistons were a long way down the block to.
Best 1/4 mile 13.2 seconds @116 mph

he means crown thickness surely. carl Yes he doe's In that case the thickness is ok,but 6cc dish won't be a lot of good as the head will only be able to be increased to 33cc.meaning that the c/r ratio will be high. Some peeps are using low deck hieght(gudgeon pin centre to top),meant for a stroked engine,but with the std stroke crank so they are down the bore on tdc to reduce compression(AND SQUISH )
