pin and chain or positive ratchet? which are least likely to collpase on you or is there any difference? |

It dont really matter with a mini imo. before the ratchets came out the chain and pin worked fine.

Ratchet types are far easier and quicker to use.
Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

ratchet are a bit better imho. allow more of a fine tuning if the car is not on a perfect level for example, and are quicker to put up, take down when trying to fit them into a tight space.... And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers! |

Can the rachet ones be turned around,as I normally use the pin ones putting the pin on the top instead of through the hole,so you can have the flat side of the base triangle level behind a car wheel,instead of the point ( for example )
