Went for a trip to Benross Performance Engineering this morning, the man himself very kindly let me drive the Benross Performance Demonstrator car....

Currently fitted with a BPE full monty cylinder head, running a T3, with straight cut gears, the difference over the standard engine is something else! Running around the 12psi to 15psi boost pressure, the spread of power is incredible. Once on boost the engine pulls its heart out all the way round to 6500rpm and is still pulling strong! It was necessary to drive the car gently this morning due to slippery road conditions, but once on the move in a straight line, the car takes off excellently from a cruise when the throttle is opened.
Also some clever actuator plumbing from Ben gives a *touch* more than the boost pressure when the boost climbs, before it settles out due to the actuator, this makes the in gear surge even more marked.....

EXCELLENT FUN!

There are further modifications planned to this car, can`t wait to see the difference!

Ive also been in the test car! And loved it!

I could hear the gears for hours after! The neighbors all were over the road in the street to watch it come out the garage *happy*
