Cheers in advance.

The head is 21.4cc, don't know about the pistons though, 6 or 7cc at a guess, someone will know.

My sister is so fit I won't show anyone her picture

The standard Turbo pistons have a 12.5cc dish. I have measured two sets both from standard engines, and they were both this size. I was a little suprised at this so i measured my mates pistons as well and they're the same.

Phil is correct - 12cc or therabouts....
This is suggesting that the metros did have a lower CR than we all thought is it not?

Thanks for the info guys, i supose i'm using this for stuff you guys have known for ages (I like to understand stuff). Using those fiqures i get a CR of 9.46:1. This sounds about right for a standard metty turbo, doesn't it??

So if i increase chamber volume to 27cc (is this practical) then that should lower to CR to around 8.5:1. Is this a good CR to run higher boost

Don't forget to take into account the ring land, and piston flush height...

Turbodave, took piston flush hieght (don't know what ring land is) also took the thickness of head gasket into account, used a web page that i picked up of Minifinity.com . It's http://www.wheelspin.net/calc/calc2.html
