me old man had to buy a new turbo for his izuzu trooper 3.1 tdi but realised when they changed the gaskets that there were no pistons left ! it is now spare, but was wondering if it is a T2... as izuzu used this turbo g reg onwards may be a method of getting them if you get stuck ?? its seems very small for such a big engine !

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

doesnt look like a typical T2, the exhaust pattern isnt the same and also the exhaust housing is held on with circlips i reckon.

still might do the business though! *happy*

The Misti Eclipse (Evo 1/2 engine) used a similar bolt pattern to that.
However - that actuator looks like the one used on Punto Turbo's with the KKK turbocharger...

cant make out the writing on the housing just thought its another one u guys could bear in mind when scourcing lil turbos but would be nice to know what it is exactly (without buting haynes manual for a trooper duty.
