ok mr cowboy here has painted the inside of his car !!!! using radiator gloss thinned down with white spirit ! i used undercoat which was shite and ended up hand painting it on... the pics are just the first coat, i might put another one on once it dries :) as for the block, i got it back from getting deglased, had to use acid on the bores to dissolve fragments of carbon left behind off the "Bit" has worked beautifully. put the core plugs in, and have started cleaning the pistons. the oil gallerys on the pistons are extremely gummed up which was not a good sign but i have cleared these now.

pistons going in the block?? Everyone knows that instructions only have to be read if the thing doesn't work....

when i can scource some bloody rings 4 em yep. they were badly burnt and like i said the oil galleries where blocked up. also all the rings were wedged solid. I ordered me arp rod bolt set, the center strap is away getting milled. and percy Austrin has my gearbox which is getting built. have to get me crank mic`d and possibly a regrind...when i get the chance i will take it to smiles. rings are a bloody nightmare , depends which ones u after .. i have brand new set somewhere .. Everyone knows that instructions only have to be read if the thing doesn't work....

well i have had a day of rubbing down the outside of the car, i have filled the scuttle, where i ground out the rot around the apertures for the wipers and squirts, i removed the sunroof which was a bit of a chore, i filled the join covering the shite top sill (half) which last oner welded with a cheap stick welder !!!! NICE !
