Ok, im trying to find a guide (and prefereably pictures) of how to setup the flywheel properly as i have a lightened job from minispares. Theres one on minispares, in calvers corner, but i get about half way and it looses me. Anyone know how to do it properly or know of a good guide?

I've seen the future and tbh its Pie

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

ok i've jumped in the deep end and bolted the lot together. Im still not sure what im exactly doing, but i think i kinda do now.

The pic shows the flywheel/clutch all bolted together, if i understand the information in the link that vegard posted i've got to make the spring face flat? in that case the spring needs to get closer to the flywheel by a few mm (any way of determining how much?) I take it the material needs to come off the backplate lugs?

Any pointers/help would be appriciated :)

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

a remember turbo dave saying that 1.6 mm needs to come off the lugs to give a touch more clamping load

on a grey or double grey!

but i may stand corrected

I could be wrong, but from that pic it looks like you have bolted through the diaphragm plate, direct to the flywheel?

The diaphragm plate bolts to the back plate, and then they are driven by the drive straps.....

the straps are attached to the flywheel with spacers as supplied from minispares with the flywheel. The diaphragm is bolted to the backplate samwhiching the flywheel, clutchplate and backplate.

That picture looks odd...
How about taking a few more and uploading them for us to view?

Yes, much better pics, from those we can see you have assembled it all OK!

Also spring looks more or less flat.
