I'm new to mini ownership,so i have a few questions.firstly is it difficult to fit a standard s.u electronic fuel pump to a 998 which originally had a mechanical one.And secondly what do i do with the crankcase breather when fitting twin s.u carbs.

Welcome to the forum.

You did not make it clear that you wanted to fit a electric fuel pump BECAUSE you were fitting twin SU's, the way I read the question was as two seperate statements as well.

Arsey replies like the one you have just made will not make anyone else want to answer your questions will it?

.....by that you mean.......sorry miniturboman, you misunderstood me i am fitting twin su carbs and am not sure what to do can you help me ????

if you want to give comments like that buy the vizzards book and work it out yourself, if not. and you want to be nice to some of the most mini experienced people around then Hello welcome to the forum.

twin su`s will need to be balanced and i recomend getting this done properly (trained specialist) as or breathers i dont quite understand. the crank case breather shouldnt effect anything mate......if in doubt refer to Mr David Vizzard, or look up your question in the search option.

Rich

The people on here try to be helpfull, doing it mainly for their own pleasure. try to respect that*happy* and you will get your help.
I know that it got me up and running with my turbo project.
