Well done Sumpnut for having a go at painting yourself, dont blame you- a word of advice with celly paint though, dont get the primer wet. Dry flat it with wet or dry, if the primer is damp in any way you will end up with microblisters and have to strip it all off and start again.

Hey my Mini is still brown with tan striped seats... and I happen to like it! Theres only one other brown mini in northern ireland (1275GT). Of course what does that say about the colour! Edited by Jay#2 on 12th Jan, 2006. On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:

I recon my one came out the factory brown with 2 layers of primer under it, got resrayed brown with a layer of primer. Then some panels were replaced and then the whole car primered again and painted yellow/green.

Update Time - I've been home both this weekend and last weekend, forgot my camera last weekend though so it may seem to have jumped on quite a bit!

Ive been working on the car quite a bit recently. I would have liked to spray all of the car inside and out at once, but I dont have much space in the garage so I had to get the rollcage out of the way. So I decided to concentrate on the interior recently:

Since these photos were taken the roll cage has been fully bolted in - that took ages and about 6 drill bits!
