Engine Number Help!

Im trying to find the CR of my engine.
I know it is an A+ Thou(modded with pre verto clutch and points dizzy, but im not too sure of its original origin.

The engine number is 9H791pZ 55972

Im sure there should be another 9 at the start but could not see one.

Ive looked on www.mancherster-minis.cwc.net at the technical specs and I think it's a:
Mini 1000 (non Cooper) to 1989
9WR or 99H
Bore = 64.588
Stroke=76.2
CC=998
CR=8.3:1
BHP=36

However I have looked in the Haynes book of Lies and there seems to be quite a few 99H variants. CR goes from a 8:3:1 to a turbo killing 10:3:1

Can anyone help me identify this engine?

Indeed the number should start 99H. Apparently if you contact British Motor Heritage they should be able to help. Sorry I dont have a contact for them

not always, i think you have the same engine as i have.
