in abit of a jam!! got 2 motors 1 is 1380 fully worked maybe 125 bananas the other a stock metro turbo 1275. ? do i t25 the 1380 or do i take 1275 make it 1293 & t25 it? what would you guys recommend or do ??? |

For a 125bhp 1380, it will have to have high compression, high lift long duration camshaft profile etc.

What pistons are in the 1380??? If they are dished what size is it and are they still in good order?? -MINI CLUBMAN 1380 TURBO- |

yes take not from the T3 "1380" matser! Best 1/4 mile 13.2 seconds @116 mph

Cant comment on powermax pistons for turbo use myself but if you find they are ok and you can get the compression down without much hassle then i would use the 1380. It would avoid reboring the 1275 block and purchasing new pistons and you would end up with a slightly more torquey motor (for the same power). Only my opinion but if i was to build a fresh turbo lump i would definately get my spare 1275 block bored out to 1380. -MINI CLUBMAN 1380 TURBO- |

im using powermax 1380 7cc pistons seam ok so far, i would use the 1380 first aswell always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas |
