Well, here is my garage. For the first time in a fortnight the mini will be warm and dry as it's spent the last few weeks in the snow, rain and cold!

I've been panelling out (and insulating) the ceiling, and generally sorting out and tidying up. I now have a totally dust-free (this has taken days to achieve), fully insulated, (kinda) warm place to work with all my tools cleaned, organised and to hand (anyone want a 3/4" spaner? I've got nine of 'em!!!!*laughing*).

Operation: 'Engine out' will commence tomorrow; right now, I'm heading out to treat myself to a steak&shake before an early night for once!

Seriously nice garage mate. I bet within a month you start thinking it aint big enough though. I have about 1000 sq ft, that aint enough. Whatever you have it seems not enough.
Paul

I seriously doubt it!

LOL!

For the past 10 years the mini has lived outside - on the driveway at my mum's...
I've had a workshop for engine building, but now i can do everything in one place!

You think that's good though - wait till i build my workshop in my back garden. It'll be 30x60 ft, split into three sections (3x approx 30x20) one for 'project storage'; one for 'active projects' (will have a 2-post lift and all the welding kit in there) and the other will be for the snowblower/mower/plow truck/more 'active' vehicle storage!

Target for that is 2007 though *wink*

My pad:

All what you can see in the right pic is my back garden - Luckilly i got a large pad as the zoning (planning permission) over here states that any extra buildings can't be larger than 1/10th of the total land area. Should manage that then!

Pretty happy with it overall - aside from it taking two whole evenings every fortnight to mow the bloomin thing in the summer!!! *laughing*

I wish I could even walk round my car when it's in the garage.

Its only a bit of metal. If it blows it blows!

Well, when i put my F150 in the garage, I can't walk around it (it fits with 2" to spare on length)! And it's not the longest/biggest truck you can drive by a long way!
Everything here is big Big BIG. Really annoying sometimes, but you get used to it.

I've shovelled more snow in the end Nov / beginning of December than i ever want to again (you have to clear your drive - local township law)... Not a problem if you have a typical UK sized snowfall or drive of course! LOL*laughing**laughing**laughing**laughing**laughing**laughing**laughing*! so i bought the snowblower.

And a new shovel....*laughing**laughing**laughing**laughing**laughing**laughing**laughing*

I paid $140k for it.

But - the kitchen, bathroom and general decor was UGLY, which basically meant i got it cheap - I've since sorted the bathroom and kitchen, but there is still a way to go!
