its a fantastic effort , i'm impressed with the thought gone in ,BUT, have you clocked the cheap as shit minispares esque bullit mirrors ,he wont see a bloody thing out of them,lol.

there there to hold the screen in place, its explained (i think) in his build diary... been following it since it was a pile of tubes, awesoem build. forgot about it till someone posted this thread. never realised it was finished!

SCCA requires it. Not that I plan to go wheel-to-wheel racing, but if I spin the car at high speed, the air rushing into the car (backwards) can pressurize it such that it pops the windscreen out. Seems like cheap insurance, plus the eight bolts further stiffen and stablize the chassis to shell connection.
