Hi there,

Does anyone know the thread size for the adaptor that screws into the filter head?? I know that the portion that screws into the filter head is 1/4"NPT but what size is the upper thread? I have conflicting information...some say 9/16UNF others 5/8UNF.

when i fitted 13 row oil cooler to my engine i found the filter head a 1/4 BSP fitted nice and the block end was 5/8UNF my engine is 1275 if you are using the car all year round i would fit a oilstat to help the engine warm up in the colder months
