Further to my previous post here are some piccies of my car!

It has a standard metro turbo engine with replaced big end bearings, oil pump and clutch. The turbo is a refurbished Garrett T3 that has been hybridised.
The body is a little tatty but is fairly good condition considering its age. I have welded the bulkhead box and strengthened the front subframe.
It has superlite 7x13 wheels and metro turbo vented four-pot callipers.
Inside it has a set of old but very supporting recaro bucket seats. I have fitted turbo boost, fuel pressure and oil pressure guage into a stainless steel dash.

I'm not sure if these pictures will work but if not just cut and paste the links.

I am looking for £1000 ono.

Any questions, offers etc. PM me:)

Looks like a bargain for someone. Good luck. *smiley*

Many thanks for your responses I hope I can help some one own her!
I have had the car on the road and running boost for just over 2 years. I had originally every intention to get it resprayed before getting it on the road. However, problems with my old car and turned from a project to a neccesity and since then kept it tidy but it has a few scratches on the roof where tools were placed during the build etc other than that it is just old paintwork with a few rust blemishes in the usual places. If you are looking for a car that you want to get sprayed eventually this is ideal. The car was a run around at Fawley powerstation so was always looked after, then owned for a year by a nipper who wanted cheap insurance. I got the car relatively cheaply as the front suspension was shot which i didn't mind as I replaced it all. Basically at completion 2 years ago the subframe has been degreased, cleaned, strengthened and painted. I have fitted adjustable tie bars and and bottom arms with kayaba gas adjust 25% uprated dampers. New bearings, swivel hubs, trackrod ends, steering rack, steering column and steering wheel. Brand new wheels and tyres and new genuine rover sportspack arches.
Refurbished engine, turbo (hybridised), new clutch. Manual boost controller, guages and speedo cluster. Brand new stainless steel dash, carpets, sound deadening. New fuel pump, Fuel pressure regulator and fuel lines. Brazed in enlarged fuel outlet in tank and my design of return (hollowed M12 bolt with thread removed from end). It also has a full minispeed 2" exhaust!

I think I have all the receipts, it took me 6 years to complete and they were very skint and struggling times. I have had a few years in it now and am a ripe old age of 27. I think that rather than spend the money getting new front tyres to get it through the MOT i would rather get a nice normal car.

Here is my orignal 'toe in water' post:-
"I just dont have the money to keep my car going! I have recently bought a house to do up and all hopes of respray and keeping the beast running have faded to this point.

It is a 1980 pageant blue super deluxe mini,

I have modified the bulkhead and fitted a Metro turbo a+ series engine with a hybridised t3 garrett turbo.

I have modified the fuel tank and fitted a brand new fuel pump and 10mm microbore supply and return fuel lines. New Fuel pressure regulator etc.

Rolling road tuned in August with a tasty 100BHP! it also has a manual boost controller set at 6PSI at the moment.

I am realy just looking to see what interest i can get and if the offers are any good. The car has tax but the MOT has expired. I refitted a track rod end and I messed up the tracking, this inturn has balded the inside of the front tyres so to get an MOT i would have to fork out 150 quid for new tyres before i even get it to the MOT.

If you are interested then i can post some photos and give you some more info. I live in Portsmouth if that makes any difference, obviously a trailer would be needed."

Just to add I only use it to get to work and get round town so in the last 2 years i have done maybe 15000 miles. Since I did a partial rebuild on the engine I'm not sure what to say about mileage. The engine is from a pre '84 Metro turbo so has the bosch electronic ignition amp and points. I have attempted to wire in the ECU previously but had no luck getting it to work so went for MBC. the wiring harness I added is still in there though but the boost solenoid has been removed.

I have a modofied R5 intercooler I can throw in too and some spares ie rear radius arm bearing refurb kit that I didnt get round to fitting (not sure if it needed it just got them when I did the front). Also the car has a mini disc played head unit, pioneer 6 x 9's in the rear shelf and sony xplod speaker in the dash vent holes!
