would a t25 with compressor a/r .48,45 trim & turbine a/r .49,62 trim be ok for a 1380?

something like that will be ok ish

Won't spool as fast as a T2, but be faster than a T3.
Compressor map is surprisingly very similar to the R5GT 50-trim - but actually less on max flow(!)
15psi at 6100rpm max by my calcs.

It depends what he want's it for...

If he's building an All-out race 1380 to tun 25+psi, then something more than a T2 is needed. If he's planning on running 10psi with super-charger like power delivery, then the T2 is needed.
