Head gasket looks fine to me.... Well, it's still between the block and the head, so we can assume it's in good condition.... On 17th Nov, 2014 Tom Fenton said:

Yes, it is suprising when you compare to our engines, my TD is something like 20:1 compression and runs 15psi!

my TD ermmm vauxhall, had CR of 22:1... when i learnt how to turn fuel up and that diesels dont detonate. the bleed valve got slowly screwed out. and it ran 16.4sec quarter mile lol never missed a beat iether thats why i have a love for diesels when i used to hate them.
