My budget is running low and my main priority at the moment is getting the car sprayed. Now I'm still a couple of parts short of being ready to fit the turbo but I will be removing the engine prior to getting the car painted in order to spray the engine bay and to clean up the engine. What I was wondering was - I have both the inlet and exhaust manifolds ready for the turbo conversion, as the engine is going to be out anyway and I need to replace the whole exhaust (accident with a ramp at the mechanics :p ), can I replace the standard manifolds and fit my metro turbo inlet and exhaust ones while still keeping the rest of the engine engine as is for now or will this bugger everything up? |

btw, I am by no means giving up on the turbo conversion! I have all the main components except for a fuel tank, the ECU and a load of pipes and hoses. However the single most expensive thing left to do on my list is to get the car painted so I'm going to get that over and done before I spendd any more money. |

I don't understand what you are asking. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

If you are using megajolt, the motor should start up regardless of settings as the EDIS controller defaults to 10 degrees advance in limp home mode without the ECU attatched. Something would have to be horribly wrong for it not to work, as long as it has power, verified by a multimeter or just a bulb and crocodile clip, it will start the engine. I started mine up without the jolt ecu attatched, no map sensor etc.
