wiv? someone stolen your T + H keys?

easist way is to get a running metro turbo engine and all the bits.
best way is to totally rebuild it all...

depends what you're after, kudos, or that time slip..

Blimey, looks like there has been some key theft going on, as judging by your username, someone has pinched B as well as T and H.

Not really. I used an SPI lump, which Morspeed re-bored. I fitted some machined pistons, and a morspeed turbo head. we're looking at at least 130bhp. no need for a metro turbo engine, as long as you've got the right bits. *wink*

All Metro turbo engines are at best 15 years old, at worst 23 years old.

No-one buys a small turbocharged car to drive it gently, so they have all been thrashed.

The "standard" engines still out there are junk, I would not place one in my lawnmower!

If you want it to last more than about a month, rebuild it. Otherwise get ready for a lot of work and some BIG bills.

I think the best advise I can give you is that if you are serious about a turbo conversion, you need to spend AT LEAST 3 or 4 hours reading old posts on this site. There is a MINE of useful info on here, and will answer a lot of your questions. I hope this does not seem rude but we get new people on here all the time asking the same old questions, and we get a bit bored of it.
Do some reading, then when you are a bit more clued up, asking questions will get you a better response.

Definately second what everyone else has said regarding a rebuild. You will be much happier with even a relatively stock but new turbo motor than with a wheezing deathbed ebay "low milage" unit on 20 psi!

With quality pistons, you will also have a solid foundation on which to build more HP later. When you start out sometimes you don't even know the questions you need to ask if you see what I mean, so study the FAQ and Knowledge sections, do a few searches and you should find out all you need to know, if you get stuck, just post here and we will do our best to help. Good luck!
