a couple of questions

hi all. a few questions for u all.
1, on the left hand side of the cylinder head on the 998, there is the heater pipe that goes into the car, the metro turbo dosent have this but it does have the two holes for the studs and the 1 in between, is it o.k to drill the middle hole out, to put this heater pipe on?
2, im sure my grumpy mechanic mate whose built the engine will no, but where does the pipe off the actuator go?
3, on the distributor there is sum electrecal gubbin that requires a plug to go on it, wot does it do? do i need it? n where can i get 1 from?
4, theres a pipe that runs through the inlet manifold im sure i dont need to use it but just wondered wot it did.
5, how many swear words is the grumpy mechanic (whose not the biggest fan of minis anyway)and i going to say when we put the engine in on saturday (dont phone in that 1s just for fun)

-Yes this is what most people do but i think there is another way to do it.

-to the compressor housing (ally bit) side of the turbo.

3, on the distributor there is sum electrecal gubbin that requires a plug to go on it, wot does it do? do i need it? n where can i get 1 from?

-ignition (?) modual, yes you need it it does important stuff dont know were to get one from.

4, theres a pipe that runs through the inlet manifold im sure i dont need to use it but just wondered wot it did.

>On the compressor housing. block off the other connection on the comp housing unless you're using the original metro setup with the ECU and stuff.

>If you mean the actual module then you can get em from halfords i believe on special order. otherwise put up a wanted ad. if you just need the plug then find a metro in the scrappys, i think the same plugs are on my mpi K series aswell though.

>Its for the water heated manifold, dont think anyone bothers with it. most people just cut the pipes off flush with the side of the manifold.
