Somewhere around Swindon

if a turbo only smokes when hot i assume thats the seals, whats involved in fixing and can this be done by me or does it have to all be rebalanced?

there should be loads on here about this wolfie. do a search*tongue*
you can do it yourself but its a bit risky so i think its one of them chances really. id say if your running standardish boost order a kit of iain mark every thing up compressor and turbin posistions etc and go for it, this is just my opinion and what i did i cant be responsible if it breaks and knackers your engine lol*smiley*

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

stowmaket suffolk

best way is to check the exhaust pipe for exh tubine seal gone or inlet from the blower for the inlet.

it could just be down to valve guides or piston rings.

valve guides is easy just jack the car up at the fron and see if it disapears.,

always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas
