i like to think i try to go out my way for people if i got something they need parts ect and i think the only time i properly forgot to send something out it was to vegard (sorry mate)

i answered a wanted post on another mini forum recently for some parts i said a really cheap price inc recorded delivery, when i went to package it up there was a bit missing so i ordered a new bit and this came to the roughly the same price i sold it for, i get an email off the chap asking when its going to be sent 1 hr AFTER he put a complaint into paypal to get money back thats a bit out of order dont you think? looks to me like he was trying to get part and money now hes hassling me for the dosh when it was taken from my paypal on the 10th if he was bothered by the delay i would have given money back gladly and prob given the part as well

and i have lost coun of the people who have said they want something then ignore email

imho it seems to be acceptable to do this on most forums apart from this one i am pleased to say

i think the problem is with the whole scene if im honest, most buyers/sellers are a bit infrequent to the forums and sell on there for more advertising than for actual sales, so you get used to dealing with them like that. perfect example is on the minifinity forums where i have been looking for a SPi wiring loom for ages now, posted many many times and PM'd sellers a couple of times without reply or even a hint of a reply.

After a while you just get used to it, a bit of lazyness and start to reply to all the threads in the same way.

The only thing i dont like on forums is where an item is for sale, without pics and at the end of the thread is the price of £offers. This anoys me as if you were there lookng at the item im sure a reasonable offer could be made up, but over the net its a different matter. Items should be priced to condition IMO.

i dont think its foroums or the mini scene its just life in general the worlds full of wankers. luckly his foroum seems ok although he occasional wanker does slip through the net lol
