What brakes fit under 13" wheels?

Hi folks -

Can someone please tell me what the max brake disc size can fit under 13" x 7" Superlites?

I may be able to get my hands on Sierra XR4x4 brakes - 259mm discs (10.2") - would these physically fit inside the wheel? If not any idea what size wheel they would fit inside?

You don't need that big brakes.

8.4 vented will stop all minis!

More than that and you risk physically snapping the ball joints like the KAD sillouette racers....

im pretty sure that turbo phil was running some bigger then standard brakes. hes got 14" wheels tho, so it may not be relevent. Have a look on his website, it may say on there.

I'm thinking of possibly doing a conversion and want to use the 13" Superlites but just need to know what the max size brake disc I can fit underneath it.

Is 8.4" (213mm) the biggest disc I can get under the 13" wheel then?

My Firenza runs 9" under 13" revos...

It depends on the wheel and the position of the disk usually.

you can fit huge discs under a 13 inch rim, please dont ask me to quote exactly what size, you'll find the problem is the caliper, for example an 8.4 inch disc will fit under most 10 inch rims...then try to find a caliper to fit it....fact.

Ive put 260mm ford sierra xr4i brakes behind my 7" x 13" revs, email me for pictures if you like, excelent conversion, cost me 105 quid in total, green stuffs, calipers, discs, machining cost etc.
