As the title says,

oil pressure is 65 ish when cold idle'ing, 30 ish when warm idle'ing, and 50 ish when warm cruising.

When i put my foot on the clutch the oil pressure drops right off to the point that the oil warning light comes on.

It's been suggested that the crank endfloat could be incorrect,

any suggestions?

do the rev's drop off aswell when you clutch in?

Yeh Probably is end float related. If you've got a heavy clutch they wear out the thrusts in time. If you sit at the lights with your clutch down that doasn't help either.
Check the end float!

Listen carefully, if you have rev counter look at that

i bet the revs drop.

i agree, i cant see any other reason for the oil pressure to drop when the clutch is in, unless its creating more bearing clearance somehow :-

maybe a bit OT but I had the revs drop when clutching this autumn. That was NOT the thrusts, but one of the bushes in the primary letting go...

those thrusts in the pic dangerous posted had only done 500 miles *wink*

i was having issues with my clutch pedal though, it was fucked and wasn't returning fully so putting constant pressure on the crank :(

Exams are finally over, so i've had time to pull the motor.

These are the thrustwashers


Crank endfloat was 2 thou

Need to replace the main bearing shells as the centre one shows quite some wear, also need a rubber ring for the belt drive kit as it had snapped and lodged up near the crank pulley
