Fuel presure regulators

Does anyone know if an adjustable fuel regulator for sale via the mini shop and others is the same thing as the Fuel presure regulators which minispeed and avonbar sell?

What you need is a rising rate regulator. I.e. as boost increases so does the fuel pressure to the carb.

Cheers any idea where i can get on cheaper than avonbar or minispeed or is ?50 about the going rate???

dont have any fuel pumps in that box of bits do you lol ?3 for p&p is fine

Reckon i may have, ill have to check. I can get new pumps for ?80 which is cheaper than avonbar. Id still go fro something like a orion efi pump or similar. Sure they're the right sort. Somebody else will know better than me.

Straight from the original supplier to rover... Bosch!

The original metro ones were made by bosch, then had a lucas sticker over the top, then sold by rover! Hence the mark up!!!

Just remember to use a good filter though before the pump, i didnt and goosed my pump. Its ok now though although the end doesnt look pretty where i re-sealed it!

ian did you manage to find any of the bits over the weekend ?

Like to hold onto most bits but if somebody needs them then i dont mind helping out (making space! lol!)
