Yes you are right, I bought mine from Somerford Minis, although that was some years ago.

Yes!

3/8 UNF thread

10mm shank

I suppose it wouldn't be that hard to make some up actually, if you have access to a lathe and some longish 12.9 M10 capheads.

I never knew you had to use these and so just used the standard mini bolts with metro 4-pots for years with no problems.

I'd use the propper bolts now if I did the conversion. But now I know more about brakes I'd stick to the standard 2-pots.

Try a local iron mongers and get the bolts for a manner of pence! or re thread hubs for more readily available metric thread bolts.
Have you got the necessary spacers to centralise the caliper over the disc?

Whats going to break next!?

Hmmm No a metric thread and imperial shoulder,as the caliper is metro(metric) hub is mini(imperial)

i read somewere this is a bad idea, and i agree, theres a lot of force on them i wouldent like to trust a reathreaded hole if i can avoid it, personally.

and i know a certain someone that had 4 pots with standard bolts and they fell off. TWICE!
