I use an output on the EDIS connected directly to the white/black signal wire to the revcounter.
Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

i havent figured mine out yet, i just have a shift light to rely on, which currently points into where the dashboard used to be!! |

I bought a 12v rev counter from ebay, i dont have a rev counter wire comign from my EDIS, ive tried the megajolt wire but that doesnt workwith it do i also have to make up that circuit with the diodes? Previous Engine: 1040cc Morespeed engine, 1275 turbo head T2 Turbo Mirage Manifolds Megajolt

you can drill the edis plug and get a signal from there |

you need to drill out the EDIS plug and insert your Rev counter wire. the connection should be present in the EDIS unit but there wont be a hole in the plug for the wire to go through. The other option (if you are really struggling) is to get the rev counter re-calibrated to 2 cylinders and run it of on side of the coil pack.
