Could I bore out a 1.3turbo? If so how big should (or could) I go? And what sort of benefits would it bring?

Big CC and turbo does'nt always mean big power, 1293 will do it. It is a case of getting the build comination correct to allow more boost and make more power.Although a 1380/1400 turbo would possibly have the edge "off boost" they don't realy make any more noticable power IMO.

Don't quote me on this but in the 80's when F1 cars ran turbo a 1500CC motors, they would produce circa 1200BHP..nuff said!
