New fuel pumps for £40

I've been looking for ages for a sensible priced fuel pump as an alternative to the fairly expensive Bosch ones we all use.

I've found a supplier who makes basicaly a copy of the Bosch units, i.e. same size, shape, pipe and electrical fittings. They come with terminals / rubber boots and a foam sleeve to isolate them from chassis.

These would come with a 12 month guarantee and would be 39.99.

Who'd be interested in these at this sort of money ? Have 2 on test at the mo to make sure they are good. These are made by quite a large oem automotive manufacturer.

Could do with some feedback as i have to buy a minimum of 500 to get them at this price.

What sort of pressure are takling about? If they are suitable for injection then I think there would be a big market at that price.

They are the same spec (i.e. direct replacement) as as the bosch pump we use as standard on the metro turbo and loads of other cars. Yes they are injection pumps

sorry for a stupid question but would you use this type of pump for a 1275 (carb) turbo conversion with a mpi tank in?
also what are the prices of the Bosch item?

Hi Guys,

Seems quite a few of you are interested in these pumps so i'm gonna have to take the plunge and buy a LOAD!! I think they should be available in about 1 month. May be a little longer.

well if you need them testing then i'll reluctently put my car forward to be a dummy lol.
