is there any point in having a quick shift? because i can only change gear as fast as i can slam the clutch down to the floor, so wud there be any point in it.

i love my quick shift. id say have a feel of one.
no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

what i ment jimmy, is i can change into gear faster than i can move my left foot. good point about the 11" gap thingy i suppose it makes it feel a lot tighter sort of thing. il get 1 tomorrow anyway. cheers

are the new style KAD ones any better than the old type? ive got the origional type one and love it to bits, but im gonna need one for the next project and wasn't sure if the new ones were any better?

Just going to say that Alex, as even when your going stow round town, a slow gear change with a quick shift might well be faster than you would normaly change gear. There for possible wear things quicker. That's why i haven't got one. never say never though. Best 1/4 mile 13.2 seconds @116 mph

You would get to a gear quicker but its limited to how quick you put the clutch in. |

We have been accused of having an automatic gear box (by some loony) because our gear changes are so fast. I don't think we would be near as fast without the quick shift.
