Okey doke - finally got the go ahead from the missus to go ahead and do the turbo conversion *smiley*

I've got a Metro Turbo engine (still on subframe) with the original fuel tank, regulator, and brakes. I intend to buy a set of Mirage manifolds as I don't wanna chop the bulkhead.

This is what I know I need:

* Metro Turbo engine inc fuel regulator (got)
* Metro turbo brakes (got)
* Replacement turbo carb - smashed mine *frown* (posted in Wanted section)
* MPI fuel tank (posted in Wanted section)
* Mirage manifolds (will be buying soon)
* T2 tubby from R5 GTT [Phase II] (have sourced and will get the chop/weld done)
* Extended engine topbrace [head to clutch master cylinder] (need to source/get done)
* Ultimate Engine Steady (to be bought from MiniSport)
* Full polyeurethane bushes for the subframe (MiniSport again)

Is there anything I've forgotten or am missing?

sounds like your almost there just a couple of things you mite need if youve not got already=
8mm or 5/16 fuel pipe (enough to run twice down car i got a roll of copper stuff from avonbar.
a good stock of jubilee clips, nuts bolts washers etc.
air filter and air pipe, this down to personal choice.
fuel fiter.
a flexible oil feed pipe for the turbo is a good idea easier to work with but is expensive.
im not sure if youll need a better radiater or not i think theres somefing on turbominis about rads (ive got a 2 core minisport one.)
exhaust downpipe+exhaust
i cant fink of anything else you mite need yet *smiley*

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

Cheers minime -

I'm using the Mirage manifolds which mean using a T2 from a Renault 5 GTT. These are watercooled. Has anyone else on here used the Mirage manifolds with a watercooled T2? If so where did you splice into the collant system to provide a water feed for the turbo?

As for the radiator - guess it'd be a good move to fit a new & better one at the same time (my own has suffered a leak and been fixed once already). What's better - a two core or a four core radator? They're about the same price from Minisport. Am assuming that the one I need is for a pre-91 car (i.e. carb - as the turbo engine is carb'd), yes?

Exhaust - I've currently got an LCB with a Sportex pipe and backbox. Does anyone know what the exhaust arrangements are when using a Mirage exhaust manifold? I'd like to keep the Sportex backbox *smiley*
