Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

Just thought id put a seperate post up rather than talk in the other one.

I'm looking at these pumps then making a specific adaptor so that i can still use the bypass hose.

Anybody come up with other options?

I'll have it permanently running and still use a thermostat.

*smiley*

yep, they certainly do.

i'm sure if you wanted to make a controller it would be possible but i dont think its necessary.

Once you get a price - and have consulted about re-mortgaging, let me know the outcome...

There isnt any with 1" connections but some with 3/4" so i guess that will do using adaptors.

I don't know a lot about the mini cooling system but i'm guessing the mechy pumps arent anything like as effcient as the leccy ones.

Would this model suffice?

http://www.boschmotorsandcontrols.co.uk/el...20064/index.htm

if it will then thats what i'll get the quote for.

Lets just say that its a lot less than £148 *smiley*

for the bosch pump:

http://www.boschmotorsandcontrols.co.uk/el...20064/index.htm

Which i reckon is well up to the job and should be nice and reliable, i can do them for £99 inc of the postage etc.

So that gives you £90 off the kad kit to make up the adapators.

I'm sure someone would probably be able to get a better trade discount than me as well.

I think i'll be going for one. Just want to be 100% that it will flow well enough before splashing the cash.

That ones got 23mm connections.

Heres a stack load of 'similar' pumps on ebay for a lot less with 19mm connections
