I am in the middle of renewing the door skins on both doors but I have run into a small problem. I need to remove the door hinges in order to wrap the skin around on that side - but I can't seem to budge them. Far as I can tell they're the original factory hinges. Any one got any hints as to how to get these off prefereably without damaging the hinges?

If that won't shift them, drill the heads off and then drill the thread out and re-tap the holes.

I have skinned dozens of Mini doors, never had to take off the hinges.
If you put a piece of wood on the skin side then use a pair of pliers to squash the flange past the hinge you should manage it. The wood stops you damaging the skin by spreading the load.
I think I have had to trim the flange slightly once on a pattern part skin but with genuine there should be a cut out in the flange.

I seriously doubt it!
