i know the rs turbo fuel pump and regulator is for a injection setup but can this be used for a carbed metty turbo.or what other pumps and regulators can you use. i will buy brand new at a later date but money is becoming tight and i want to get her going. cheers If in Doubt, go flat out !!! |

mirage are doing new pumps for 40 quid, thats a good price no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

I think the pump is OK but not the regulator unless you can get it down to 3psi at the carb, the injection system that the rsturbo regulator opperates at much higher pressure, (40psi approx?), and so unless you are lucky and it has that range of adjustment, (if it's adjustable at all), then you have to use a mg metro turbo one.

RST pump is a very high pressure and flow unit - if you use this, you'll almost definately need a restrictor at the regulator entry... On 17th Nov, 2014 Tom Fenton said:

look on e/bay for pump & reg for metro turbo or R5gt turbo 1293 Turbo mini
