G'day all. Found this site by accident, whilst cruising the megasquirt forums for my current work vehicle, which is a nissan RB30ET powered holden VL calais. (Hence the MiniVL username).

Quick History.
Learnt to drive in a mini. 1st car was a mini, so was the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and unfortunally not the 5th. BUT the 6th will definatly be another mini. You guessed it. I have the mini bug.

Have rebuilt 2 998's to basically stock std, and 1 1293 n/a plus had a workshop build a mild 1340. (I think i was ripped off on that one, but that's another story).

Currently have a stock metro turbo 1275 on the garage floor in need of a rebuild, plus everything but a good shell to put it all in.
Have been thinking of the rebuild on the metro turbo lump for approx 5 yrs now, and had every intention of injecting it at the same time, and had decided on megasquirt about 2yrs ago.

By trade I'm an Avionic Engineer able to fix both boeing and airbus aircraft. My hobby over the last 5 yrs has been computer programming, in particular i'm working on a displaying Megasquirt II realtime parameters, and eventually a digital dash for my mini monitoring the engine.

I have a fairly broad knowledge of EFI due to my work car, and have some ideas for the mini, which i'll be posting the relevant sections after i've had a good read of whats there. Unfortunatly i'm a while away from my rebuild as i'm more into the EFI r&d and monitoring the moment.
